About me

I'm a roboticist and research scientist passionate about making positive impacts through technology and science. I have a broad range of experience from government and academic research (Sandia National Laboratories; Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems) to industry (Lockheed Martin; Doron Precision Systems), and have communicated my work to audiences in high-impact journals, conferences, and public presentations. I am excited to leverage my skillsets in both computational and experimental methods to solve new robotics problems.

Soft Robotic Shape Display

Published open access in Nature Communications, my coauthors and I developed an advanced 100-actuator, 100-sensor system.

Gradient descent control algorithm

I developed and experimentally validated the performance of a gradient-descent-based control algorithm using our robotic shape display which can drive complex trajectories of surface objects. This work is currently in preparation for publication.
